Maplewood/Richmond Heights Collection Event

Thanks to the grant, First 300 residents can recycle up to 30 lbs. at no cost! Paint can weight included.

Funding is limited. Additional paint may be recycled for a $1 per lb.

Paint must be in original sealed containers; the weight of the paint container is included in the weight for recycling.

Latex/Water based paints accepted:

Porch, Floor, & Garage paints

Primer & Sealer

Requirements:

Original container

Sealed paint can

Readable label

Rust free

Can’t be clumped

Other info:

Paint cans with less than 1/3 of paint remaining should be dried out before disposing in curbside trash (cheap cat litter works well).

Recycle at HHW:

Other paints can be recycled at the Regional Household Hazardous Waste drop-off facilities. Go to HHWSTL.com to schedule an appointment.
